Things to do in and around Chama, NM

Hike

There are a number of hike near Chama, NM. Some of my favorite are in the South San Juan Wilderness, like trail #724 and more.

Fish

The Lodge and Ranch at Chama offers some of the best trout fishing in the West, whether on one of a dozen high-country lakes or on over 12 miles of pristine mountain streams.

Get Married

Log River Ranch and Chama, NM have special places in our hearts, and we are so happy to be able to share it with others. Karlee has been in the wedding and event business for over 10 years. Prior to Log River Ranch, she worked in events at both a ranch and ski resort in Colorado. Starting Log River Ranch had always been a dream of hers. Having the opportunity to open up a barn wedding venue is a dream come true!

Shop

Off the Rails. We are a small gift shop serving the community of Chama, New Mexico. Chama Is located In northern NM and Is a thriving village that welcomes visitors. Come to Chama and check out Downtown shopping, great restaurants, and the Cumbres and Toltec Train.
